Logistics and Information Note: Africa Animal Welfare Conference (AAWC) - 2026
Physical / In-Person Delegates
If you registered to participate in-person at the Golden Peacock Hotel, Lusaka, Zambia, please take note of the following:
- Badges / name tags - In-person delegates will receive their badges on Monday, 5th October 2026 at the entrance to the conference room. Delegates are encouraged to come with their own lanyards.
- Conference Programme and any other conference material - The conference will be paperless, and no printed material will be provided. The programme and any other conference material will be provided at the registration desk through a QR code. You are encouraged to bring your laptops, tablets or smart phones. Virtual / Online Delegates
If you registered to participate virtually, please take note of the following:
- Zoom Link - The Zoom link has been dispatched to the virtual delegates. If you registered to participate virtually and have not yet received the Zoom link, please send us an email through info@aawconference.org.
- Register Your Details on Zoom - You are required to register into the Zoom platform by Sunday, 4th October 2026. Once you register, you will receive information on how to join the conference virtually for the 3 days. While registering on the Zoom Platform, please use the same email address and names you used during registration.
- You will be able to interact with the conference speakers and moderators virtually. If you need to verbally ask a question or make a contribution, you can indicate that in the chat and you will be given the rights to give your contribution. In addition, virtual delegates can post questions and comments on the chats. All these will be attended to by the respective speakers.
- Please, ensure that you have a reliable internet connection for a smooth conference proceeding.
